Department of Defense to Regrow Body Parts

The Department of Defense in the US announced on April 17 that they will create the Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine (AFIRM) who will do research targeted at regrowing body parts. The initial budget is $250 million over a five year period. Let us hope we see some progress on the area soon [DOD].
